There is a trail that runs from Windsor to the Quebec border. In August, I worked with the Waterfront Regeneration Trust – a not-for-profit organization that helps complete, expand and enhance the Waterfront Trail – to photograph their annual trail ride. This year’s ride spanned five days and the 300km between Brighton and Cornwall; it also included a lot of camping, sunscreen, coffee, and neon hats. Besides the challenge of a five-day shoot working out of a car, what I love about this trip is the opportunity to explore some of Ontario’s smaller communities. (Last year‘s great find was the Bayside Brewing Co. in Erieau, this year it was the Boboli Cafe in Brockville.)

To get a sense of what the ride was like, you can view more photographs HERE.

Special shout-out to my father for being my precision driver and second shooter! (Thanks, Dad.)
